Adelaide Senior Coach Matthew Nicks says he is anticipating a “heated affair” in Showdown 54.
Both sides enter the clash with plenty to play for - the Crows looking to stay in touch with the top eight and the Power out to solidify a top-two spot.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Nicks said it was an important match for both teams, with more than just bragging rights on the line.
“This is a huge game for both teams… It's always a heated affair,” Nicks said.
“It's a big one for both teams for different reasons, for us we need to win every game we possibly can in the next five and that starts with tomorrow night.
“We are playing a top two side again, and you don’t just walk in and win those games, we want to give everything we’ve got and if they are going to win, they are going to have to earn it.”
Adelaide named a Club debutant in Irish defender Mark Keane for the clash and Nicks said after strong showings in the SANFL, the defender had earned his opportunity.
“We’re really confident with Keaney, he’s played at the level with Collingwood, he doesn’t have the experience of some but definitely has the determination,” Nicks said.
“He’s a great young footballer, he hasn’t had the opportunity with us to this point but with Murray going down, that's an opportunity for somebody else.
“Keaney is ready to go, he will really enjoy the atmosphere and the environment, he doesn't hold back.”
Adelaide will take on Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, with the first bounce at 7.10pm.
