It’s unanimous – Crows fans have backed the AFL in crowning Eddie Betts as their own RAA Goal of the Year winner.
Betts’ left-foot torpedo from the boundary in Round Nine attracted almost half of the total vote in our poll on afc.com.au.
The livewire forward also claimed second spot for his incredible checkside goal against Collingwood in Round Two. Rory Atkins’ left-foot snap against Brisbane finished in third place.
Betts made light of the wet and windy conditions at Adelaide Oval during the Crows’ Indigenous Round clash with Fremantle.
The All Australian Crow collected the rain-soaked Sherrin at the northern end of the ground midway through the second term. Already pressed hard against the boundary line and still 50 metres out from goal, Betts whirled onto his left boot and unleashed a miracle torpedo that sailed from left to right and bounced its way through for a major.

The effort earned Eddie his second AFL Goal of the Year after claiming the honour back in 2006. He was nominated four times throughout the course of Season 2015.
The two-time leading goalkicker also won last year’s RAA Goal of the Year title for his miraculous checkside from the opposite pocket at Adelaide Oval.
Fans were asked to choose their favourite Crows goal of the season from a list of 10 nominees – four of which were kicked by Betts. Watch all our RAA Goals of the Year
