Adelaide Senior Coach Matthew Nicks says his side will be looking to bounce back in front of a passionate home crowd this weekend.

The Crows are back at Adelaide Oval this Saturday to take on North Melbourne.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Nicks said he hoped to see plenty of Crows fans in the crowd, as his side hoped for a return to the winners' list.

“Our guys can’t wait and hopefully we can get as many of our supporters as we can on Saturday,” said Nicks.

“That drives our group and gives them that little bit of extra energy.

“We will go in and hopefully bounce back from last week.”

Adelaide has made one change ahead of the Round 16 match, with Ned McHenry earning selection in the final 22,  after coming on as the Crows’ substitute during last week’s clash with Collingwood.

Nicks said competition for AFL selection was strong but believed McHenry had earned his spot in the starting line-up.

“There are many players pressing for selection at the moment,” Nicks said.

“Ned’s probably given us exactly what we are after, the last four or five weeks.

“In that particular role, he came on and impacted the game really well on the weekend which is something we have to look at.

“Having the same player in the sub role for multiple weeks in a row, they need to get a good hit out at some stage, and he’s done really well.”

Nicks said his team would need to be at its best to beat the Kangaroos.

“They (the Kangaroos) are a lot stronger than what they get external credit for and are playing some great footy,” Nicks said.

“They have a lot of talent through that midfield, they have been scoring well so we will have our work cut out for us.

“The competition is so even, it’s those small moments in games that make the difference.

“That's our key tomorrow, to bring what we have been bringing at home games.”

Adelaide takes on North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday at 1.15pm.
