Three Saturday night prime time games at home and two more games on national free-to-air television headlines Adelaide’s fixture for the second half of its 2023 campaign.
The AFL released the schedule for Rounds 16-23 on Thursday afternoon, but left the final round of the home and away season as a floating fixture.
The Crows will host GWS (Round 18), Port Adelaide (Round 20) and Sydney (Round 23) all in Saturday night fixtures starting at 7.10pm, as well as North Melbourne (Round 16) and Gold Coast (Round 21) on a Saturday afternoon.
The two free-to-air games on Channel 7 will be against Essendon at Marvel Stadium in Round 17 and Melbourne at the MCG in Round 19.
Adelaide’s home Showdown is slated for Round 20 on Saturday night, July 29.
Adelaide chief executive Tim Silvers described the latest fixture release as exciting for the Club, its Members and supporters.
“We are very pleased to have three games in the highly sought after Saturday night timeslot which our fans have told us that they like and which typically attract very strong crowds,” Silvers said.
“And they promise to be three cracking games against quality opponents as we build on what has been a positive start to the season so far.
“In addition to these home games, national free-to-air coverage is important for our Club on a number of levels and it’s great that we have the opportunity to showcase the exciting brand of football we are playing to a big audience in the run home.”
Adelaide will finish its home-and-away season against West Coast in Perth in Round 24 on the weekend of August 25-27.
