Former Victorian cricketer Alex Keath could make his AFL debut for Adelaide in Friday night's top of the table clash with Geelong at Adelaide Oval.
Keath and second-year defender Tom Doedee are in the mix with Jake Lever (hamstring tightness) unlikely to play after he trained away from the main group on Wednesday morning.
Winger Wayne Milera Junior (calf) was also on modified training and is unlikely to return.
However, Club Champion Rory Sloane completed the full session, but will still need to complete the Club's concussion protocols before he is cleared to play.
Keath, 25, was recruited to the Crows as a Category B rookie at the end of 2015, and would need to be elevated to the senior list to be eligible for selection.
With key defender Kyle Hartigan at least a week away with a hamstring injury and Kyle Cheney (hamstring) having not played for the past month, utility Andy Otten said the Crows could go in several directions.
"Tom Doedee's name has come up at times," Otten said.
"Alex Keath is another tall option we could go with – he's been in ripping form in the SANFL.
"And then you can maybe do a bit of a shuffle and bring in (Paul) Seedsman or (Jordan) Gallucci, so we've got some options there definitely."
Keath had 19 possessions, nine rebound 50ms and seven marks in the SANFL against West Adelaide last weekend.
At 198cm and 97kg, Keath can be the second tall in the Crows' defence alongside All Australian Daniel Talia and Otten.
Doedee – the 17th overall pick of the 2015 NAB AFL Draft - is nine centimetres shorter than Keath if the Crows decide to go with an under-sized backline.
Sloane looked at long odds to get up for the massive encounter after he was concussed in last weekend's win over Melbourne in Darwin.
But after passing a concussion test earlier in the week, the champion midfielder is doing everything he can to take his place in the side.
"He looked great today," Otten said.
"He's in the concussion protocol, but he's doing everything he can to play.
"We've still got training tomorrow, so he's got to get through training, and then he'll do another concussion test, but he's putting his hand up."
Lever finished the win over the Demons on the bench after experiencing hamstring tightness.
"He did a bit of work outside of the main group today, but we've still got a training session tomorrow," Otten said.
