Adelaide will go into Friday night's sold-out clash with Hawthorn as named.
Jason Porplyzia, who has been recalled to the team, will start as the substitute.
Porplyzia replaces wingman David Mackay, who will miss the sold-out clash with the Hawks because of a minor hamstring complaint. Mackay is likely to be available for the Club’s next match against Collingwood in a fortnight.
Patrick Dangerfield (knee), Scott Thompson (leg), Daniel Talia (corked buttock) and Ben Rutten (concussion) have all overcome minor injuries sustained in the win over Greater Western Sydney last weekend.
Porplyzia returns after being left out of the side that beat GWS.
“Porps was unlucky to be squeezed out of the team last week and was our travelling emergency,” Sanderson said.
“He was very good in the Showdown and we think the conditions might suit him on Friday night.”
Defender Brent Reilly (soreness) and Sam Shaw (hamstring) will return in Adelaide’s SANFL clash with South Adelaide on Saturday.
The team is:
IN: Jason Porplyzia
OUT: David Mackay (hamstring)
