The State and Federal Government’s South Road upgrade will include direct entry and exit access to the Crows’ proposed redevelopment of the Thebarton Oval precinct.

The 10.5km Torrens to Darlington Project is the final section of the North-South Corridor which is 78km of non-stop motorway connecting communities between Gawler and Noarlunga while minimising traffic congestion.

It will allow motorists to bypass 21 sets of traffic lights between the River Torrens and Darlington and is estimated to improve travel times by around 20 minutes by incorporating tunnels, overpasses and underpasses.

The road project will include direct access to and from the Thebarton Oval precinct to alleviate traffic congestion throughout neighbouring streets.
