Patrick Dangerfield remains in doubt for Sunday’s match against Geelong with a shoulder injury.
Dangerfield suffered a sprained right AC joint in a collision with Collingwood onballer Sam Dwyer in the first quarter of Adelaide’s loss to the Magpies on Friday night. After receiving treatment, the courageous Crow returned to play out the game under duress.
Dangerfield will have scans on Monday, but a call on his availability for Adelaide’s clash with the Cats is unlikely to be made until later in the week, once swelling around the joint has subsided.
Forward Jared Petrenko will also be monitored after suffering a concussion in the early stages of Woodville-West Torrens’ loss to West Adelaide on Saturday. Brodie Martin (ankle), Sam Kerridge (knee), Sam Shaw (illness) and rookie Jack Osborn (hip) all made successful returns from injury in the SANFL.
The Crows will hold an open training session on Saturday, July 20, from about 10:00am on AAMI Stadium.
