There's 28 days until the National Draft kicks off and here's all the information you need to know ahead of the two-day event.

Key dates:

• Delisted free agency period: Thursday, November 3 to Wednesday, November 9
• AFL National Draft Round One: Monday, November 28
• AFL National Draft Round Two onwards: Tuesday, November 29
• Pre-season and Rookie Draft: Wednesday, November 30

How the National Draft works:

At this stage, a minimum of 54 picks and maximum of 61 selections are set to take place.

The draft order is not set in stone just yet, with clubs having until November 15 to trade picks to move up the order.

Clubs will soon be able to sign delisted free agents and that will change available list spots and open picks.

What picks does Adelaide have?

The Club’s current draft hand is Picks 46, 56 and 59, and next year includes a first, two second and a third round selection.

The Crows have completed a pick swap with two separate deals, acquiring Pick 56 from Brisbane in exchange for a future fourth round selection, which was currently linked to Fremantle.

Adelaide also secured Pick 59 and a future second round selection from North Melbourne for Pick 23.

The Crows announced earlier this month that they will officially nominate Norwood defender Max Michalanney as a father-son prospect ahead of the National Draft.

Club comments ahead of the Draft:

“We are continually exploring ways to improve our draft hand and overall playing squad, and central to our decision making are the numerous scenarios that can play out in and around the draft,” Adelaide General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said.

“This latest swap of picks aligns with our list management strategy and as always, we will be true to our talent order and see how the draft selections fall on the night.”
