An elite runner who uses his aerobic ability and skills to set up the play from half back.
Sholl had an exceptional TAC Cup campaign, averaging 24.1 disposals and seven marks across 14 games after shifting from the wing to a half-back role in 2018.
At this year's Under-18 Championships, he ranked No. 1 for uncontested possessions and uncontested marks, impressing recruiters with his consistency and improved kicking efficiency.
He finished in the top 10 in the Yo-Yo test at October’s Draft Combine to highlight his strong endurance.
Sholl’s father Brett played 35 games for Carlton between 1992 and 1994, while his dad’s cousins Craig (235 games for North Melbourne) and Brad (171 games for North Melbourne and Geelong) also playing at the top level.
