Adelaide forwards Taylor Walker and Darcy Fogarty were the stars in the Crows’ 57-point win against North Melbourne on Sunday.

But there was another in Adelaide’s attacking-50 who caught the eye of the coaches, including assistant James Rahilly.

Speaking to the media on Monday, Rahilly said small forward James Rowe, who booted two goals, impressed in Hobart.

“Rowey was pretty dangerous on the weekend,” Rahilly said.

“He’s using the ball and he’s actually finding a lot of ball for a small forward, which is pleasing.

“He’s working on his pressure game and his tackles but he kicked a couple yesterday.”

The Crows controlled the match against the Kangaroos in Hobart, with Walker and Fogarty booting 10 goals between them - six and four respectively.

Rahilly said the hard work was starting to pay dividends for Fogarty, who also collected 20 disposals, took a high-flying mark and notched his 50th-game milestone on Sunday.

“I think his (Fogarty’s) past month has been the best since I’ve been here and it’s a credit to him,” Rahilly said.

“It’s just all clicked for him.

“He’s working really hard off the ball and when he’s in vision, he’s looking pretty strong.”

Although Walker, Fogarty and Rowe got on the end of a few of the goals, Rahilly said the victory against the Kangaroos came off the back of a strong, four-quarter, team performance.

“It was good to play four quarters,” Rahilly said

“I thought the way we played it out and executed in front of goal, which was nice as well.

“To win by that margin was pleasing.”
