Crows forward Riley Thilthorpe has been cleared of serious damage to his ankle and will be tested at training ahead of selection for Sunday’s clash with North Melbourne in Hobart.

The second-year key position player was injured in a marking contest against Gold Coast on Sunday and subbed out of the game.

“Riley rolled his ankle in a marking contest in the third quarter, he tried to get back on (to the ground) and was put through a fitness test on the sideline but was unable to get through,” Adelaide High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

“We scanned him yesterday and fortunately there was no structural damage, but he had sustained a minor ankle injury, so we expect him to be modified this week and we’ll see if he comes up for Sunday.”

Midfield recruit Brett Turner is nearing a return from a foot injury and expected to play his first game for the Club in coming weeks.

“Brett is coming towards the end of his rehab process, we expect him to integrate into training this week and he’ll be one to two weeks away from playing for us,” Burgess said.

“Brett has been amazing in his rehab, he’s been really diligent and looks like a great athlete and I’m looking forward to seeing him playing.”

Injury list as of Tuesday, June 21:

Riley Thilthorpe (ankle) test
Brett Turner (foot) 1-2 weeks
