Jordan Dawson has won the Showdown Medal after kicking the winning goal after the siren in Showdown 51 on Friday night.

Dawson polled votes from every judge including two who deemed him best-afield in his Showdown debut.

He polled 12 votes in total to win the medal from Port Adelaide’s Travis Boak (9) and Todd Marshall (7) while Ollie Wines and Elliott Himmelberg also polled a single vote.
