Sydney captain Jarrad McVeigh has been cleared of rough conduct against Matthew Jaensch.
McVeigh was after making high contact with Jaensch during the first quarter at Adelaide Oval on Saturday. After viewing all the available footage, speaking with the umpire who laid the report and receiving a medical report from the Adelaide Football Club, it was the view of the panel that the force used by McVeigh was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.
Crows forward Josh Jenkins has been charged with a First Offence for Making Negligent Contact with an Umpire ($1,200 sanction) for making negligent contact with umpire Brendan Hosking during the second quarter. Jenkins can accept a $900 sanction with an early guilty plea.
