Adelaide's Jared Petrenko has been nominated for the Origin AFL Goal of the Year for his impressive goal against Geelong at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

Petrenko scooped up the loose ball and weaved his way through heavy traffic to get himself in to the clear. He performed a little shimmy to avoid the last Cats tackler, before angling the ball on to his boot to kick a fantastic banana goal.
