Paul Seedsman is revelling in the chance to patrol the wings for Adelaide alongside Sydney recruit Jordan Dawson.

Seedsman enjoyed a stellar season in 2021, finishing third in the Crows’ Best and Fairest and securing a place in the AFL’s All Australian squad.

Dawson, who finished third in Sydney’s Best and Fairest, arrived at West Lakes via a trade with the Swans in October.

“He’s clean and moves well… one thing is his voice, he uses that really well,” Seedsman said.

“That’s an added bonus, I didn't know that’s what he was like.

“You get everything else as well. Beautiful kick, great tackle. He’ll be a great asset for us.”

Adelaide welcomed four draftees into the fold in late November via the National Draft and Pre-season Draft, including Pick No. 6 Josh Rachele.

Seedsman said all four players have quickly impressed.

“They’ve all settled in pretty nicely and seem like good kids,” Seedsman said.

“Rachele took a hit up ball the other day full stretch, took it as clean as anything then rolled around and laced someone out in the forward 50.

“To have the cleanliness, attack at the footy and then to finish it off was pretty impressive. A few of the boys were very impressed.”

In October, Seedsman signed a one-year extension at the Club, ensuring he would remain with the Crows until at least the end of 2023.

“I was pleased with how I went in 2021,” Seedsman said.

“I thought we showed good signs and improvement as a team.

“We quickly move to this year, I want to improve myself but more importantly improve as a team.

“I'll do whatever I can to help us get back to playing finals football which is what the Club wants.”
