Adelaide ruckman Kieran Strachan has been named in the 2021 SANFL Team of the Year after an impressive season at the Crows.

The 25-year-old dominated in the ruck, averaging 36.4 hit-outs and 16.1 disposals across 15 SANFL matches this season.

He also booted three goals and averaged 3.9 clearances.

The big man’s SANFL form elevated him to the Crows’ AFL side for the Round 22 and Round 23 games against Melbourne and North Melbourne, respectively.

The accolade is Strachan’s second in as many months after he was named Adelaide’s 2021 State League Club Champion.
