The AFL Heat Policy has been implemented for the Crows’ NAB Cup clash with Carlton at AAMI Stadium tonight.
Because of the expected temperature of 36 degrees in Adelaide today, quarters will be reduced by two-and-a-half minutes each (time on will only be taken after the first 12-and-a-half minutes of each quarter).
The quarter-time and three-quarter time breaks will be increased from six minutes to 10 minutes. The half-time break will remain at 20 minutes.
However, the NAB Cup interchange rule will remain. Clubs will be permitted three interchange players and three substitutes for tonight’s game. The cap of 20 interchanges per team per quarter will also remain.
The game kicks off at 8:10pm (SA time). Tickets are available at the gate.
