Together with the Adelaide Heritage Committee and Major Partner Toyota, the Adelaide Football Club has named its best 22 of the past 30 years.
An expert panel was formed to select the team alongside a Members exclusive vote released on Monday.
The expert panel included: John Reid, Trevor Jaques, John Condon, Michael Taylor, Mike Sheahan and Chris McDermott.
Crows Heritage Committee Chairman John Reid, who headed the expert panel of selectors, said the final team would stand up strongly against that from any other club in the league.
“Although it was a tough job, a lot of the guys picked themselves and this became obvious when looking at the players who were nominated by the Members,” Reid said.
“I have no doubt this side would represent our Club admirably against other similarly picked sides in the competition.”
Crows legend Andrew McLeod was the most popular among Members with more than 99% selecting the dual-Norm Smith Medallist.
Tony Modra and Mark Ricciuto weren’t far behind, garnering just under 99% each.
Dual-premiership captain Mark Bickley has been named as captain of the side.
Dual-premiership coach Malcolm Blight has been named as coach.
Forwards:
Coleman Medallist (1997) Modra was named full-forward for the side, with soon-to-be 350-gamer Eddie Betts and dual-premiership player Darren Jarman joining him in the pockets.
The trio combined for more than 1,000 goals for Adelaide across a total of just 371 games.
On the half-forward line, 130-gamer Matthew Robran leads with 110 goals and two Premiership medals.
Former captain Simon Goodwin takes a spot on the flank along with Melbourne Demons recruit Scott Thompson, who leads the Club all-time for disposals with 6752.
Midfielders:
In the centre, Tyson Edwards (321 games, two Premierships) and Club captain Rory Sloane have been named on the wings.
Brownlow Medallist (2003), eight-time All Australian and former Club captain Ricciuto was selected in the centre position following 312 games in the tri-colours.
Premiership No. 52 Shaun Rehn claimed the ruck position following 134 games, two flags and two All Australian selections for Adelaide.
Former No. 32 and 2015 Club Champion Patrick Dangerfield was named on the ball alongside 1993 Malcolm Blight Medallist Tony McGuiness.
Defenders:
Two-time All Australian and the 2014 Club Champion Daniel Talia was selected at centre-half-back.
On the flank, Club legend and two-time Norm Smith Medallist McLeod takes his place. Three-time All Australian Nigel Smart joins him, with both having won Premierships in 1997 and 1998.
Essendon coach and 229-gamer Ben Rutten claims the full-back position.
Two-time Club Champion (1999, 2002) Ben Hart joins him, along with dual-premiership captain Bickley.
Interchange:
All-time Crows leading goalkicker Taylor Walker (489 goals) will start on the interchange next to teammate and 2018 Club Champion Rory Laird.
Fan favourite Graham Johncock and inaugural Club captain Chris McDermott round out the Crows best 22 of the first 30 years.
