Crows Members are getting closer to the action in our final game of 2021, thanks to RAA Members Round.
Foundation member Lindsay Green has been selected to deliver the match ball ahead of Adelaide’s game against North Melbourne.
Green had reserved seating at several spots at Football Park but, since the move to Adelaide Oval, has now settled into seats in the much-loved north-eastern corner.
“It will always be Eddie Betts’ pocket to us,” Green said.
“We have seen him and so many other amazing players kick goals right in front of us.
“We have had to move around the Oval a bit this year, but it has been good to see the game from different spots and get a different perspective on the game.”
For the Green family, attending the footy means spending time together.
“We have five seats for our family, so the game is a great chance to catch up and spend time with each other,” Green said.
“We all love the footy and the team so going to the games and cheering for the team together definitely bonds us.
“When you have been there for a while, you get to know all the people around you and they are a bit of an extended family.”
Thanks to RAA, Green is one of a number of Crows Members who will be involved in game day activities, including guard of honour and half-time guernsey presentation.
“Getting the opportunity to take the ball out is pretty special so when they told me, my heart was racing” Green said.
“The players are starting to gel a bit more now and every game I watch, you can see they are getting better and better.
“My passion is my football club, so any chance to get a bit more involved is just incredible.”
