Warren joined the Adelaide Football Club Board in 2020 as Director. Warren has over forty-three years of winemaking and wine business experience – sixteen years as an employee and twenty-seven years steering the ship in his own business.
Across the Randall Wine Group, which now includes Seppeltsfield of the Barossa, Tinlins Wines of McLaren Vale, Ryecroft of McLaren Vale, Boar’s Rock of McLaren Vale and Quelltaler of Clare Valley, Warren’s combined viticultural assets are impressive. He presides over approximately 8,500 acres of premium South Australian vineyards including the Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Currency Creek, Coonawarra, Riverland and the Clare Valley.
Warren received the ‘Len Evan’s Award in 2015’ for ‘Exemplary Leadership in the Australian Wine Industry’ and was recognised as Ernst and Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2002. He is also a current ambassador for the South Australian Government (PIRSA) Premium Food and Wine, and has been since 2015.
Warren purchased Seppeltsfield in 2009, and in this time, he has been responsible for the revival - bringing the Seppeltsfield village back to life, restoring the 1888 Gravity Cellar and turning this into a world class tourism destination and fine wine brand, culminating in being awarded “Best Cellar Door in the World” in 2019.
