Key forward Josh Jenkins has taken out Adelaide’s Leading Goalkicker Award for the first time after bagging 46 majors in 2018.
In his seventh season at the Club, he finally toppled Eddie Betts who has won the award for the past four seasons. Betts finished second with 29 goals in 18 games.
One of just four players to take to the field in all 22 games, Jenkins was a strong target for the Crows all season, kicking three or more goals on nine occasions.
The 29-year-old kicked five in Adelaide’s grand final rematch with Richmond in Round Two and finished the season on a high when he slotted seven goals against Carlton.
He also secured his side’s victory in Showdown 45 when he kicked a match-winning goal with under three minutes left on the clock.
