This Saturday’s match is the first time Adelaide has played Carlton at Etihad Stadium since 2012.

He is ranked first in the AFL for contested possessions with 363 and second for clearances with 150.

Hugh Greenwood is ranked 12th in the league for contested possessions, although he trails Cripps by over 100 with 261.
On average, Matt Crouch and Rory Sloane are the best for the Crows with 13 contested possessions per game.
In 2018, Adelaide leads Carlton in disposals 381.5-346.8, with the pair ranked fifth and 17th, respectively, while the Crows lead contested possessions 162.6-135.2 and are ranked first with Carlton 18th.
The Crows slip to 12th for uncontested possessions but still lead 225.2-208.9.
Other stats which narrowly favour Adelaide include marks at 90-87.3, hitouts at 41.4-35, clearances at 37.8-34.7 and inside 50s at 52.8-44.4.
Charlie Curnow enters as Carlton’s leading goalkicker with 34 goals, five behind Adelaide’s Josh Jenkins.
In Round One, Curnow kicked a career-best five goals and has gone goalless in just three of his 19 games in 2018.
Sam Jacobs has 764 hitouts for the season at an average of 36.4, while injured Carlton big man Matthew Kreuzer has averaged just 23 hitouts from his 12 games.
His replacement, Matthew Lobbe, averages 35.4 and has played the last five games of the season.
