Adelaide defender Ange Foley has accepted a one-match sanction after being charged by the AFL Women’s Match Review Panel.
Foley was charged with kneeing Melbourne captain Daisy Pearce in the final quarter of Saturday’s 32-point loss to the Demons at Casey Fields.
The incident was assessed as intentional conduct with medium impact to the body, classified as a two-match sanction.
However, Foley was able to accept a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea and will miss Saturday's clash with the undefeated Western Bulldogs at Norwood Oval.
