The coaches couldn’t find room for any Crows in the votes at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Western Bulldogs’ domination in their 57-point win was reflected in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year voting, with six Dogs sharing the spoils.
Six-goal forward Jake Stringer earned nine votes from Phil Walsh and Luke Beveridge despite being subbed out of the match late with a hamstring complaint.
Bulldogs skipper Bob Murphy, who starred across half-back with 25 possessions and 17 handball receives, collected eight votes.
Key defender Michael Talia, younger brother of Crow Daniel, earned five votes for his role on Crows captain Taylor Walker. The Dogs’ leading possession-getter, Liam Picken, who finished with 29 touches and a goal, also collected five votes.
Lively half-forward Luke Dalhaus was awarded two votes for his strong performance, which included 27 possessions, seven inside 50ms, six tackles and a goal. Ball magnet Jack Macrae (one vote) rounded out the voting.
