The Adelaide Crows are producing their own television show to be aired on Channel 7 Adelaide in 2015.
The Crows Show will feature rare and exclusive behind the scenes vision, as well as insights from players, coaches and staff, as Adelaide competes during the AFL premiership season. It will also showcase charitable and community initiatives, with viewers seeing Club identities away from their day-to-day football activities.
Dual-premiership captain Mark Bickley will host the weekly program during what will be Adelaide’s 25th season in the AFL.
Crows Chief Executive Officer Andrew Fagan said the 30-minute show would be a key part of the Club’s growing media platform.
“Our award-winning website has a reputation for outstanding content, and The Crows Show will be no different,” Fagan said.
“The show will feature a variety of stories catering for all ages and will enable us to reach out to our members, supporters and the South Australian community in an entertaining and engaging way.”
Channel 7 Adelaide General Manager Tony Davison said the station was looking forward to working with the Crows.
“As the AFL host broadcaster and media partner of the Adelaide Football Club, we are delighted to include The Crows Show in our football schedule,” Davison said.
The first episode will go to air on Channel 7 Adelaide in April.
